Beautiful Flowers

I love it when my husband brings home flowers.

They are all so beautiful.

They make me smile.

But, what do you do with them when they start to dry up and die

I actually like roses when they start to curl back. I typically cut them really short and place them in a bowl of water, or I just pluck the petals and place them in a dry bowl. I know some people dry them and use them for all sorts of crafts. You can use the pictures for all sorts of creative things too, like paper crafts, framing, or blogging. ;)

Love the colors.
Have a great weekend.

You're a lucky lady to get all those beautiful blooms! I also like them when they're just starting to dry like the ones in your photo. Have a great weekend Linda :)

What a treat!

Sometimes I do what Marcia has said, trim them back and place in a bowl of water. I do this after trimming the stems until they're too short for a vase lol. I also just dried them out for potpourri. A time or two I used petals on art cards.

I keep rose petals in a bowl for awhile until they loose all their fragrance! I love roses!
