Under The Sea

A little bit of this...
And a little bit of that...
Add it all together and you'll get this!

My latest art creation; a mixed-medium collage.
I decided to produce something different then anything I have done before.
I have been in an art-block lately. After going through countless art magazines, books and design websites to get inspired I think I have finally come out of my art-slump.
To creates this piece I used silk flowers and plastic flower stems, liquid watercolors, watercolor paper, paper towel, foam core, glue, & pen and ink.

I am very happy with how the final piece turned out...
You know, it's funny... I had originally started with something
different andunhappy with that I ripped it all apart.
It wasn't until after I saw the ripped pieces on the floor that I realized my inspiration.

What do you think?! Have you ever had an art-block?

You did a amazing job! I especially LOVE the textured paper and the colors, that just draws you in. Me? well I am stuck on flowers, perhaps vecause it has been a very long time since I have grew/seen any, throughout the drought dry hot summer to this winter, although it's been a very mild winter, nice vaca from last summer.
