Spring?

I know, I know...I've neglected my Blog. So very sorry. I felt that since our weather has not co-operated with the season (Spring) that you didn't want to see any more winter photos.

I decided to go where the season of Spring was, without leaving town.
There is a great place to go here called Fredric Meijer Gardens. There are many different things to do there at different times of the year. It is also a wonderful Art Gallery, a Children's Garden as well as a Sculptor Park.

This time of the year they get their Butterflies are Blooming event started. It lasts from March 1st to April 30th.
They feature the butterflies of the region.

First they receive the caterpillar stage of the butterfly, then in a glassed in house the caterpillars go through their stages and finally emerge as butterflies.
It is amazing to go see this awesome event and this is the closest to Spring I can get for now. The rest is up to Mother Nature.

Butterflies- like little fluttering flowers in the air. Sounds like Fred's place is a great stress reliever in the winter. Hope your snow is melting, mine is slowly disappearing.

Oh my gosh, these butterfly pictures are awesome! I always try to take pictures of the butterfly, but they fly away too quickly.
