Colors of Michigan

Can't forget about the mushrooms. Because of the season changing, the ground is acidic.

Such an amazing array of color this year.
The sky adds such contrast, and makes the colors stand out more.

All of these photos were taken within a mile from my house.

The leaves are starting to drop off the trees and soon everyone will be raking them into piles. Not my favorite fall thing to do!

Before I go down the road, I must say that Michigan is past peak and soon the weather will change again... Look out! Winter will be upon us soon. Get your coats, boots, hats and mittens out.
I hope that you enjoyed the tour.

We are still having temps in the high 80's....I look forward to being able to wear a sweater :)

Beautiful colors. I know how weird the weather has been this year so we must appreciate them as we can.
I am seeing more mushrooms and fungus in the yard these past few weeks too.

Just lovely, our trees are mostly still green with a few yellowing. Later, because of all the wonderful rain we've had had, the trees will be in their full glory.
