Now that the weather is just right for planting. I bought some small rose plants, succulents, and annuals
and went to work this past weekend.
My garden space is very limited do to the amount of clay soil that I have. There is no getting around it, I have a clay problem... This year I thought instead of planting in the ground, I would make individual gardens, in pots.
Whenever I plant directly into the clay, and no matter how much good potting soil that I mix with it, the clay
takes over. So, hopefully this "pot planting" idea
is the trick.

Hey Linda ;o) Sorry, I am behind in everything! So far, I think your garden looks beautiful ;o) I think you are doing a great job ;o) Smart idea planting in pots, because your soil is so bad. Take Care, Hugs ;o)
I almost forgot about getting some small shrubs for my front yard until I saw your post!
Your roses look beautiful. The small succulents are something I've wanted to try planting, yours look so fresh and healthy. Pots sound like a good solution. Enjoy!
How beautiful it all looks! Great idea.
Potted plants around a garden always looks so pretty. It adds height that otherwise would not be there! Good luck with all your new plants.
Saw your "Dark Shadows" comment at Val's and just had to come to visit! I too watched the series, and just loved it!!
It looks like you have a beautiful garden!
