An Owl Of A Different Color.

Here is the latest in my Mixed Media Collage Adventure.

It is 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches and it is on a stretched canvas.

An owl is a creature of the night.

Nocturnal creatures are symbolic of inner knowing, psychic ability and intuition.

Keep in mind that animals are only called to those who share the same energy. You may hold within you some of the same symbolic attrabutes the owl represents.

Welcome Spring

In honor of Spring I created this mixed media collage.

Every Spring I look forward to the Robins returning.

Last week I witnessed the very first.

It is a 5x7 mixed media collage mounted on foam core.

In making this collage Again I used used bits and pieces out of my junk box.

It has a saw tooth picture hanger on the back.
I have also featured it in my Etsy site.

Welcome To My Art Giveaway

In celebration of my new artwork I am offering my

First Giveaway.

Recently I have been experimenting with collage. As you can see, I use any piece that I can find in my small art "junk" box.

I have always enjoyed drawing fish. This interest goes back to when I was a child.

In elementary school, I loved looking at all of the colors and shapes to be found under the sea. I have tried to capture some of those images here.

This collage is 5x7, mounted on foamcore and has a picture hanger on the back.

I plan on creating more collages for my Etsy store soon.

I thought that I might try another collage.
This time more detail.

And more inspiration from other sources.

I really dug deep into my pile of bits and pieces.

Here we have the finished collage.

I'm thinking of putting it into my ETSY shop.
