Last Great Act of Defiance...

In spite of what the forecast shows this week more winter weather is on it's way... I woke up early this morning and definatly heard birds churping. The sky was blue all day, not a cloud in the sky, a nice change from the grey days we have had. But today it looks like Spring will be here soon. There is hope.

I'm looking forward to spring, too. Can't wait for the season to change! I miss the pretty flowers. Although, I definitely don't miss that pollen...

We haven't had snow, but the winter here has been rainy and colder than usual. We had blue skies and birds yesterday too and it was beautiful!!

I feel the same way. :) We still have snow on the ground, but the robins have been out looking for worms! Happy SITS Saturday Sharefest!

Oh goodness- we also had snow (again) yesterday. Cars sliding off of the interstate. I need your hope!!! I can't for sure say if it was the last great act of defiance - just ANOTHER act of defiance!

I don't know about you, but I'm looking at mounds of snow left over from last week that still need shoveling. Can't wait 'til Spring, can you? SITS sent me by, and I'm glad they did...

It's so good to hear the birds and see the sun. Yesterday it was over 40 degrees!

What beautiful winter shots. I just recently embraced winter and its beauty which is funny because I have lived in Indiana for all of my 36 years. Go figure. It really is a beautiful time of the year.

These winter shots are lovely, but there's nothing quite like the promise of spring!

I can't wait for Spring. I finally switched out the bulbs in the house to full spectrum lights which are supposed to help with the winter blues. So far so good.
