I am sure some of you have gotten quite a bit of snow in the last twenty four hours. Here in Michigan we only got one inch. It is very cold here. Eighteen degrees was the tempeture that I woke up to this morning. To keep myself warm and toasty my husband made a fire in the fireplace. I want to share it with all of you. Please enjoy.

It is cold here in South Carolina this morning. Your fire looks sooo warm.
I am also longing for summer-- in fact, I just told my hubby last night that I was already yearning for a warm spring breeze in my hair. I can stand the cold and snow until New Year's, but once January hits, I am ready for the heat and humidity!

It is illegal for us to have a fire in the fireplace anytime we want. Can you believe it? Thanks for sharing a fire in the fireplace.
Have a Great Christmas! I hope you enjoy all the fun of the season with your family.

We get to light a fire maybe once a year. It's nice and cool out today but Christmas is projected to be 70 degrees out. Ha!
We are soooooooo snowed in! Waiting on one more chica to journey home from college. Fingers crossed that she makes it this afternoon...SITS sent me by, and I'm glad they did!

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I appreciate it. Love the photo of the fire. Makes me want to light and cuddle up with a good book. Maybe later....
This year, our kids get to make the fire so they are very thrilled & proud to have this duty. We love spending time in front to the fire too. Happy days from Tokyo!

Oh, that fire looks GREAT! The snow has all been washed away from the heavy rain we had over the mild weekend, but it's back to being below freezing temperatures here in PA. Brrrrr.
That looks so cozy! We could do with that here! Visiting from SITS :)
You gotta love a man who can build a roaring fire. (Or maybe that is just me channeling my inner cave woman?)
Happy SITS Saturday.
