Warm and Toasty..

I am sure some of you have gotten quite a bit of snow in the last twenty four hours. Here in Michigan we only got one inch. It is very cold here. Eighteen degrees was the tempeture that I woke up to this morning. To keep myself warm and toasty my husband made a fire in the fireplace. I want to share it with all of you. Please enjoy.

I am also longing for summer-- in fact, I just told my hubby last night that I was already yearning for a warm spring breeze in my hair. I can stand the cold and snow until New Year's, but once January hits, I am ready for the heat and humidity!

It is illegal for us to have a fire in the fireplace anytime we want. Can you believe it? Thanks for sharing a fire in the fireplace.

Have a Great Christmas! I hope you enjoy all the fun of the season with your family.

We get to light a fire maybe once a year. It's nice and cool out today but Christmas is projected to be 70 degrees out. Ha!

This year, our kids get to make the fire so they are very thrilled & proud to have this duty. We love spending time in front to the fire too. Happy days from Tokyo!

Oh, that fire looks GREAT! The snow has all been washed away from the heavy rain we had over the mild weekend, but it's back to being below freezing temperatures here in PA. Brrrrr.

You gotta love a man who can build a roaring fire. (Or maybe that is just me channeling my inner cave woman?)

Happy SITS Saturday.
