Carefree Summer

Yeah! The carefree days of summer have just begun...It's nice when good friends and their children get together on a warm sunshiny day.

Art Show

I participated in another art show! Typical of Michigan weather, it was cold, rainy, windy and the turnout was not what we expected. However, we made the best of it and we all had lots of fun together, laughing, talking and wishing for hot chocolate and buyers.

My College Grad.

My daughter graduated college with a BFA in Photography and Graphic Design from Kendall College of Art and Design. My husband and I are very proud of her! Her particular class (photography) wore the 3D glasses as an inside joke. They wanted to get noticed. To be different than the other classes. There were 400 other students in the graduating class.

Photography Thesis Exhibition

In my daughter's final year of college she had to focus on a subject the entire year, her thesis. She chose to do an interpretation of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The week before graduation she had an exhibition of her work.

Meet Bella.....

I would like to introduce Bella Corona, she is a seven pound two year old toy poodle who loves to go, go and go some more. Bella is a lot of fun. She likes to play rough and tumble games like keep away and fetch. Yes, she is wearing a t-shirt.

Art Show

Just incase any of you are in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I will be selling my art at the John Ball Park Zoo Art and Craft show. Saturday May 16th from 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. You will have a great time. You can go to the Art area and then visit the new monkey attraction as well as all areas of the zoo. You can even ride in a swan paddle boat across the lake. I hope to see you there. Fireworks....

How can we forget the wonders of summer and the fireworks on the forth of July. We viewed this beautiful sight from our own front yard. They were shot off at the high school which is a block away.

Shadow Images

It was a beautiful weekend, great days for shadow images inside and out.

If you haven't guessed by now what shadow you are looking at is, it's the shadow from our patio chairs and table. The other one is inside the house with our dog looking out.
