Snow!

Oh my goodness, and goodness doesn't have anything to do with it.
It has been snowing for the last two weeks.
How much more snow can we handle? There is about three feet of snow on the ground and it is still snowing!
Are we ever going to see the sun and feel its warmth again?

This is Michigan....feels like the frozen Tundra.

The Most Beautiful...

Fall in Michigan is the most beautiful time of year.
It all reminds me of a beautiful painting.

The palet of colors are complete.

Pumpkins come in all shapes and sizes.
Somewhere in the east coast, someone grew a pumpkin that weighed over 2050 lbs.

These trees and bushes look as if they are on fire.
Flames leaping skyward.

Winter Sunsets in Michigan

I don't know what it is about our sunsets. Maybe not so intense but, could it be the cold crisp air, smoke from fireplaces, car exaust or a combination of all these things? Help me out. What do you think? There is never a dull moment when the sunsets here in Michigan.

Butterflies are Free

It seems like summer is coming to an end here in Michigan, the days are getting shorter with the sun setting earlier, and the warm days are turning into cool waking hours however I still see butterflies and moths fluttering through the air.

Here are some from butterflies from our trip Up North.
