Spring is Here

The Robins Have Returned to Michigan

It may not officially be Spring yet, but the first sign of it for me is the

return of the Robins.

As I peaked out my window the other morning I saw one pearched on the tree just outside of my kitchen.

So, in commemoration of thier return I dedicate this post to the coming of Spring!

Last Great Act of Defiance...

In spite of what the forecast shows this week more winter weather is on it's way... I woke up early this morning and definatly heard birds churping. The sky was blue all day, not a cloud in the sky, a nice change from the grey days we have had. But today it looks like Spring will be here soon. There is hope.
