Random Thought...

Did you ever wonder?

I'm serious. Did you ever notice how much stuff you find on the ground while taking a walk? Aside from the bottles, cans and general trash. I mean, I did find 12 cents but doesn't anyone ever pick anything up? Well I did. This was three leisurely walks later. I seriously think that people should really look around once in a while...you may miss something.

The Last Week-end OF Summer

 I can't belive it. Fall will be upon us in a few days. Yes, it is true. This is the last week-end of summer.

 Summer went by us so very fast. Yes, it was so very hot.

Like other places, we could have used some very much needed rain.

 Looks like fall is slowly sneaking in making its big entrance... I am ready.

I Won, Really!

Wow, it has been so long since I've won a giveaway that I'm at a loss for words.

I won two different giveaways within four weeks.

 

 This first one is a beautiful print. It is 8x10. It is called "White Lily"  It was painted by Lisa At The Fine Art And Ramblings Of Lisa Russo. She has a wonderful blog with lots of other prints to choose from. Please visit her soon.

I also won two wonderous shabby chic French Flea Market Tags. I won two. These tags are 3x6. There is a lot of detail on these and are beautiful. Beautiful Flowers

 

 I love it when my husband brings home flowers.

 

They are all so beautiful.

 

They make me smile.

 

 

But, what do you do with them when they start to dry up and die ?  

Halloween...Not Too Far Away.

Looking out my blogger window I've noticed that other bloggers are anticipating Halloween's arrival. I am so very excited, as Halloween is my favorite holiday.

 A friend called me the other day and said that she had a gift for me. I couldn't imagine what it could be.

 Oh my goodness...It was  four wondefully decorated witches hats. Just look at the detail on this one. 

 They all are amazing, as far as I'm concerned.

 I think that this one is my favorite...then again, they all are.

 There was even a table display. I think that I'm going to put orange, yellow celophane in the windows for a more dramatic effect.

She also included three half masks....Wow! what an amazing gift.

I have a great start on my Halloween decorations. What do you think?

Mad Tea Party of 2012

 Enjoy some tea. We have plenty of sweet treats to eat and some new friends to meet.

 Begin at the beginning and go on until you come to the end and stop.

 If it makes me grow larger, I can reach the key, and if it makes me grow smaller, I can creep under the door, so either way  I'll get into the garden, and I don't care which happends

 There's the rabbit, I must follow him.

I'm late, I'm late for a very important date. No time to say "Hello Good by". I'm late I'm late.

There was a table set out under a tree.

 Come, we shall have some fun now.

 The Mad Hatter must be close by.

The table was a large one. There was plenty of room.

 Curiouser and curiouser

Oh, but it's loads of fun.

 It's always tea time!

 There are plenty of sweet treats to eat.

If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsence. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what isn't.

 What a funny watch !

 You can stay as long as you wish but make sure when you leave, follow the white rabbit on the way out and you will be brought right back in, which is a crazy bad wonderful idea.
