February Artful Bag Challenge

Artful Bag Challenge
The objective for this month is to take an object that is not a
bag or purse and make it into one.
The object that I chose is a chinese to-go container. I wrapped it in scrapbooking paper that had a whimsicle touch with the glitter. A purple ribbon for the strap and to create a lock where the purse would open I added a button cover. I kept my purse simple as I would see it being used as a clutch for a fancy night out on the town.

    Dear Linda,
    THAT CHINESE TO GO CONTAINER WAS CHANGED BY THE ARTIST HANDS INTO AN ADORABLE, PRETTY PURSE...I WOULD CARRY IT TO A COMMUNITY PLAY, WHERE IT IS CASUAL/DRESSY.
    BOY YOU ARE ON THE BALL...I HAVEN'T EVEN HAD A CHANCE TO SEE WHAT OUR PROJECT WAS THIS MONTH...I MAY GET A GLITTERY DUSTING FROM FROSTED PETUNIA.

    What a lovely bag - and fabulous idea. Now, of course, I have to make a joke and say that it's the perfect purse to take to a restaurant to hold your leftovers! LOL. Beautiful colors and clasp. This is lovely!

    How much fun - can you imagine if all to-go containers were this pretty we'd never eat take out - lol... what a beautiful purse...
